On Monday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians said that outside linebacker Shaq Barrett had torn the ACL and sprained the medial collateral ligament during Sunday’s game.
“The injury is not serious, but Shaq Barrett is likely to miss the rest of the regular season.” Bruce Arians said, “I hope he can return in the playoffs.”
In addition, Tampa Bay Buccaneers also added Mike Evans, the head wide receiver, to the new crown reserve list, and Breshad Perriman was activated.
Shaq Barrett scored the 10th sacks of the season on Sunday, and became the fourth player in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history to complete 10 sacks in two seasons. Before Shaq Barrett was injured, another starting outside linebacker, Jason Pierre-Paul, also missed the game due to a shoulder injury.
