Cincinnati Bengals starting quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a minor injury in the 41-22 home loss to the Lightning on Sunday afternoon.
In an interview with reporters after the game, Joe Burrow said that when he was sacked and killed in the first quarter, the passer’s little finger was dislocated, but he insisted on finishing the game without missing any offense.
But Joe Burrow doesn’t think he will miss the game against the 49ers next week: “I just have to deal with this injury. I won’t miss any games because of this.”
Joe Burrow completed 24 of 40 passes in this game, advanced 300 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions (both after injury). If Joe Burrow’s injury recovery is not satisfactory, Brandon Allen will start instead for him.
Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor and wide receiver Tee Higgins both said that Joe Burrow’s passing accuracy is fine.
