On March 14, the Boston Celtics held a jersey retirement ceremony for team legend Kevin Garnett after the home game against the Mavericks.
Celtics home announcer Mike – Gehman officiated the ceremony. The ceremony is divided into teammate speech, fan interview, jersey display, team owner speech, tribute video, Garnett interview, and jersey upgrade.

Garnett played six seasons for the Celtics from 2007 to 2013, leading the Celtics to a championship in 2007-08. During his time with the Celtics, Garnett averaged 15.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
